Deutsche Glasfaser acquisition by EQT, Omers cleared by competition authority

Deutsche Glasfaser will be merged with regional operator Inexio, which is already owned by EQT Infrastructure through its fund IV. The new company plans to supply more than 6 million connections for private households, firms and government institutions, and provide high-speed internet for areas in Germany not yet equipped with gigabit-capable connections.
