Deutsche Glasfaser to expand FTTH network in Schmalfeld

German operator Deutsche Glasfaser has announced that it will install a FTTH network in the community of Schmalfeld, which counts 1,900 residents. Deutsche Telekom had invested a million-Euro sum to expand its vectoring network in Schmalfeld at the beginning of the year but only customers who are in the immediate proximity of the distribution station can get access to the faster connections at up to 100 Mbps.
