Deutsche Glasfaser weighs in on German election broadband debate

German operator Deutsche Glasfaser has waded into the debate in Germany's federal election campaign over whether the country is keeping up in broadband deployment. In a statement, the fibre operator criticised the low penetration of fibre networks and said incumbent Deutsche Telekom was holding back development due to its focus on VDSL vectoring.
