Deutsche Telekom exec calls for new mobile advertising model

A Deutsche Telekom executive has called for internet advertising companies such as Google and Facebook to subsidise the cost of mobile data services. Tomasz Gerszberg, senior VP for technology strategy at the German operator, made the comments in an article posted on his personal LinkedIn account, the Financial Times reports. Deutsche Telekom said the article was written in a personal capacity, and the piece has since been deleted.
