Deutsche Telekom joins Solar Impulse Foundation 1000+ solutions Alliance

Thursday 11 June 2020 | 09:18 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom said it has joined the Solar Impulse Foundation 1000+ solutions alliance. The company is testing a water cooling system developed by Cloud&Heat, a start-up that provides energy-efficient infrastructure, on its MagentaGaming platform. The water cooling system for IT infrastructure enables reuse of heat for other purposes, for example heating in buildings. During the pilot phase on the MagentaGaming platform, waste heat is integrated into the circuit and reused to heat the building, thereby reducing energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
