Deutsche Telekom launches cloud-based cyber-security system

Thursday 20 October 2016 | 12:00 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom has introduced Internet Protect Pro to the market, a new cyber-attack protection service based on the cloud. The system, manufactured by US-based Zscaler offers URL filtering, virus and malware protection, content-based testing and threat ratings for content for data on a company's network or on the Deutsche Telekom cloud. Suspicious files are tested using a 'sandbox', an isolated environment where potential damage can be restricted. All data uploaded or downloaded from the internet is controlled, with the option of including mobile communications.
