Deutsche Telekom launches gigabit broadband offer

Deutsche Telekom has given in to pressure to invest more in full fibre and announced the launch of a 1 Gbps broadband offer on its existing FTTH network. The German operator said it will test customer demand for gigabit speeds with the Magenta Zuhause Gigaplan for 1 Gbps download and 500 Mbps upload speeds, available for EUR 119.95 per month. The new plan also comes with unlimited fixed calls and the EntertainTV Plus service.
