Deutsche Telekom launches 'HotSpot Plug 'n' Play' package

Thursday 21 January 2016 | 17:17 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom has launched the 'HotSpot Plug 'n' Play' package for small and medium businesses, such as cafes and bookstores, to provide customers with free Wi-Fi. Customers need a Telekom line with minimum bandwidth of 16 Mbps and a corresponding router. To use the Wi-Fi, guests access the Telekom website that appears in the browser, with users' data traffic routed separately from that of the line owner. HotSpot Plug 'n' Play is available from EUR 19.95 net per month, plus a one-time charge of EUR 149 for the hardware, with a minimum 24-month contract.
