Deutsche Telekom launches PaketButler across Germany

Friday 4 November 2016 | 11:28 CET | News
Following a trial in four German cities, Deutsche Telekom will introduce its M2M package service nationwide. PaketButler aims to allow the secure delivery and pick-up of packages without the resident being home. The service will be available from 14 November. Deliveries can be placed inside a fire-resistant, rip-proof PaketButler box outside the recipient's address. After delivery, a message is automatically sent to the recipient via the PaketButler app. Once locked, the box can only be opened via a PIN.
