Deutsche Telekom opens up smart home platform to developers

Deutsche Telekom has joined the open source organisation Eclipse Foundation as a solution member, according to Heise Online. In future, it will open up its Qivicon smart home platform for developers, the news website said. Qivicon is an alliance initiated by Deutsche Telekom of approximately 30 companies, including EnBW, eQ-3, Miele and Samsung.
