Deutsche Telekom partners with start-up DataGuard for data protection compliance service

Wednesday 15 May 2019 | 17:38 CET | News

Deutsche Telekom said it has partnered with the tech start-up DataGuard to offer a data protection service for its business customers. This should help small and middle-sized enterprises fulfill the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation.

DataGuard analyzes the requirements of the customers relating to data protection. Through privacy audits, documentation and recommendations, it supports the companies in compliance with all GDPR rules. The DataGuard package has a starting price of EUR 150 per month.

For the personal support of its customers, DataGuard relies on a self-developed web platform that digitizes and automates numerous work steps with the help of artificial intelligence. The company is part of Telekom's TechBoost program that supports start-ups offering digital solutions.
