Deutsche Telekom presents in-car mobile internet prototype

Deutsche Telekom is presenting a prototype 'internet in the car' solution at CeBIT that can put the internet in every vehicle class, from small cars to heavy goods vehicles. The mobile solution will be on display in an electric Smart car at the Deutsche Telekom stand. An app has been developed specifically for electric vehicles which shows the driver at the tap of a finger on the display where the next service station of his or her electricity provider is, how much "fuel" is left in the "tank," and which route to take to the nearest charging station.
