Deutsche Telekom presents offer for wage increases amid Verdi strikes

Deutsche Telekom said it has put forth an offer for wage increases for its roughly 55,000 employees who are subject to wage agreements, in Berlin on 22 March. Under its offer, wages for employees at Telekom Deutschland and at its company headquarters, as well as apprentices and student apprentices, would see a two-step pay increase where wages rise 2 percent on 01 July 2018 and by another 1.7 percent on 01 March 2019.
