Deutsche Telekom provides Robert Koch Institute with anonymised customer data to contain spread of Covid-19

Deutsche Telekom has started to provide data about its customers to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) to help contain the spread of Covid-19, Tagesspiegel reports. The Robert Koch Institute is the government's central scientific institution in the field of biomedicine and is receiving the data in anonymised form to understand the flows of people's movements nationwide, at state and district levels.
