Deutsche Telekom reactivates part of network damaged by floods

Deutsche Telekom said that over half of its mobile sites damaged during recent floods are now working again. Storms and floods in parts of Germany, in particular North-Rhine Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, caused severe damage to Telekom's network, with around 130 mobile sites going down in those two states. Telekom said basic mobile phone coverage is now guaranteed in many locations, with higher capacity to follow gradually.
