Deutsche Telekom rolls out fibre broadband in Bad Honnef

Deutsche Telekom is using so-called 'micro trenching' to deploy fibre-optic cables for the firs time. Around 9,000 households in Bad Honnef will benefit from the roll-out, becoming vectoring-enabled by end-2016. This will support download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, with upload speeds of up to 40 Mbps.
