Deutsche Telekom, SAP to develop Corona app

The German government said that Deutsche Telekom and SAP will develop a "Corona App" based on a decentralized software architecture. The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and the Helmholtz-Zentrum CISPA have the task to advise on the development of the application. The core task of the Corona app is to inform people who have had contact with a person infected with Covid-19 as quickly as possible. This will enable the timely isolation of those with infections.
