Deutsche Telekom sets out technical features of European Quantum Infrastructure

Deutsche Telekom said it has set out the technical and security features of the European Quantum Communication Infrastructure (EuroQCI) following interim results in a study commissioned by the European Commission. It conducted the study on deploying a European quantum infrastructure with fibre-based terrestrial and satellite-based components. Telekom will build the network with partners including the AIT Austrian Institute of Technology, Thales, Thales Alenia Space and Telefonica Investigacion y Desarrollo, associate partners from academia, and specialist companies.
