Deutsche Telekom to offer free Joyn service from October

Deutsche Telekom will launch the Joyn mobile messaging service from start-October, reports teltarif.de citing a company price list document. The service will be offered free of charge in the introductory phase through end-March 2013, after which it will become a paid-for service.
