Deutsche Telekom tops Bitkom Cloud Monitor survey

Deutsche Telekom announced that is has come top for data privacy and compliance in the Bitkom Cloud Monitor 2016 survey. One quarter (26%) of respondents confirmed that Deutsche Telekom and its business customers arm T-Systems provide high levels of data privacy and compliance. IBM was in 2nd place with over 13 percent, followed by Microsoft with over 12 percent. The survey shows that most respondents want their cloud data centre to be situated in Germany (76%), with nearly as many (72%) also wanting their provider to be based there.
