Deutsche Telekom, Vodafone sign letter of intent to share network in grey-spot areas

Deutsche Telekom announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Vodafone Germany to eventually finalize a network sharing agreement at a total of 4,000 selected mobile sites. The agreement aims to improve coverage in so-called "grey spots", areas where only one operator provides LTE coverage. The companies are in talks with the Federal Cartel Office and the Federal Network Agency over the project, which is expected to start this year.
