Deutsche Telekom's Hubraum incubator launches VR-startup Texel

Deutsche Telekom's tech incubator Hubraum said it has launched its latest investment Texel, an Israel- and US-baed startup that enables viewers from different locations to experience sporting events and concerts live together via virtual reality and video services. The service platform is content-, network- and user-oriented, which opens new possibilities for user interaction and monetization, while the VR streaming platform enables rights' holders and broadcasters to "transport" viewers and sports fans to events, said Telekom.
