Digi Mobil tops Spain portability ranking for first time
Digi Mobil, the operator targeting Romanians in Spain, topped the country's mobile portability figures for the first time in May, attracting some 18,600 new lines, according to data published by website Economiza.com. The MasMovil group was the only operator with its own network to have a positive month, its various brands contributing to net gains of 14,000 lines, including 2,400 from Yoigo.

All three leading operators suffered losses, with Vodafone shedding some 43,000 customers compared to April, partly offset by the 3,000 gains of its low-cost brand Lowi. Orange shed 11,000 lines in total, including 3,000 from Simyo, while Movistar (Telefonica) lost a total of 6,700, including 700 from Tuenti.
