Digi revenues up 17% in Q3 to EUR 270 mln, profits lower

Romanian operator Digi reported Q3 revenue up 17.3 percent year-on-year to EUR 269.8 million. The revenues of recently acquired Hungarian fixed operator Invitel were included, and the increase in revenues excluding Invitel would have been 9.0 percent. Revenue in Romania increased 8.7 percent year-on-year to EUR 176.5 million, while revenue in Hungary grew 42.6 percent to EUR 54.6 million, mostly due to the acquisition of Invitel. Revenue in Spain increased 33.7 percent to EUR 32.9 million, while revenue in Italy rose 20.8 percent to EUR 5.8 million.
