Digicel revamps credit loan service

Telecommunications group Digicel has announced a major revamp of its DigiLoan credit advance service that allows customers to top up their account by dialling a short code, reports the Jamaica Observer, citing Digicel Jamaica CEO David Butler. "We have simplified the process and it is now easier for customers to access a DigiLoan right at the time they need one," said Butler, adding that customers can now simply reply 'Yes' to an invitation from the 127 short code to borrow credit, whereas before they had to go through five separate steps.
