Digicel to install 100 more 4G sites in Jamaica

Wednesday 1 August 2018 | 11:12 CET | News
Digicel Jamaica has announced plans to install 100 new mobile antennas in Clarendon, Manchester, St Elizabeth, Hanover and Westmoreland next month with a view to boosting its LTE-4G network, reports the Jamaica Observer, citing the company's CEO Justin Morin. "We're going for nationwide coverage within the shortest time possible and this sees us adding LTE service to over 100 sites in these areas," said Morin, adding that the company's 700MHz spectrum concession gives it greater reach with less mobile sites.
