DigiD will get Android app in Sept

The Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations (BZK) wants to the country's national ID system DigiD to continue developing, and quickly, develop DigiD, Minister Ronald Plasterk told the Lower House of Parliament. The government's eID programme is developing services so that citizens and businesses can safely log onto the government site. Besides DigiD, iDIN and Idensys are also accepted. DigiD now has a "low" security level. There is need for it to host resources with "substantial" and "high" levels. A level of "substantial" for its reliability will launch on DigiD from September
