Digital Entertainment Group sets up direct-to-consumer media industry group

The Digital Entertainment Group announced the formation of a new industry group to help develop the growing direct-to-consumer media business. The new DTC Alliance targets the growing number of media companies and broadcasters launching direct-to-consumer streaming services and aims to provide support in developing industry best practices and cooperation. It will also act as a lobby group for the sector, help promote a common stance to partners and promote members and services to consumers.
