Digital networking important across all Switzerland - study

Monday 9 May 2016 | 11:06 CET | News
A study by research institute Sotomo for Swisscom shows that there is no networking gap between urban and rural areas, with digital networking almost as important to those living in rural areas as for those in towns and cities. All respondents, regardless of where they live, would rather be without a car than an internet and mobile connection. Mobile communications is increasingly important for consumers, with 72 percent exchanging text messages by SMS or messaging services such as Whatsapp. The results of the survey show that digital networking clearly outstrips other types of networking.
