DigitalSTROM, Microsoft show smart home products at CeBIT

Smart home provider digitalSTROM said it is teaming up with Microsoft at the CeBIT trade fair from 16-20 March to present its intuitive Kinect-based control system for the home of the future. Video and infrared sensors are able to transform practically any surface or object in the home into a control element. It connects electric devices using the home's existing electrical wiring and integrates IP devices, thereby providing a platform for the connected home.
