Dish discusses mobile partnership with Amazon - report

Thursday 6 July 2017 | 17:40 CET | News
Dish Network and Amazon are in talks on a potential partnership in the mobile market, people familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal. Among the possible options are Amazon helping finance Dish's roll-out of a network and Amazon offering its Prime subscribers low-cost data or phone plans. No deal is imminent and it is unclear if the companies will move forward with a partnership, the report. Dish has discussed versions of the "founding partner" concept with other firms, one of the paper's sources said. Both companies declined to comment.
