Dish leaves Sprint offer unchanged

Dish Network said it did not submit a new offer for Sprint Nextel by the 18 June deadline set by the company. According to Dish, it was "impracticable" to revise its offer, after Sprint cut off due diligence early and incorporated 'poison pill' measures in its takeover agreement with Softbank in an attempt to block any alternative deal. Dish said it still sees value in Sprint, but will consider its options and in the mean time focus on its takeover bid for Clearwire.
