Disney switches to Google Ad Manager from Comcast FreeWheel

Disney will be switching to Google technology from Comcast's FreeWheel for the management and delivery of its online ad campaigns, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing a company spokesperson. Disney's networks, including ABC, ESPN and Freeform, will use Google Ad Manager for ads that appear across video, mobile, apps and display formats, including streaming. The move is part of a broader push to centralise Disney's advertising operations. Disney has worked with both FreeWheel and Google Ad Manager in the past.
