Djezzy expands LTE footprint to 25% of Algerian population

Veon's subsidiary Djezzy announced that the reach of its LTE services has improved to 25 percent of the Algerian population, compared with 20.5 percent reported for the end of June. The operator said that it now covers 10 million people across 24 of the country's provinces or wilayas (Alger, Ain Defla, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Boumerdes, El Oued, Mostaganem, Oran, Skikda, Tizi Ouzou, Tlemcen, Blida, Batna, Setif, Constantine, Djelfa, Tiaret, Medea, Bejaia, Mila, Annaba, Tamanrasset, Mascara and Adrar).
