DNA extends carriage with Nelonon, MTV

Monday 6 March 2017 | 12:17 CET | News
Finnish operator DNA said it reached a new agreement on distribution of the TV channels Ava, Jim, Liv and Hero on its cable network, the contract for which was due to end on 28 February. DNA agreed new deals with Nelonon Media, which runs the channels Hero, Jim and Liv, and with Bonnier unit MTV concerning the channel Ava, valid until 30 September. As a result there was no disruptions to broadcasts for customers. DNA said it will continue negotiations on extending the carriage agreement for a longer period. DNA is Finland's largest cable operator, serving over 600,000 households.
