Dominican Republic to install Wi-Fi in university campuses

The Dominican Telecommunications Institute (Indotel) has announced plans to install a free Wi-Fi network at the headquarters of the country's Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD) and its 18 regional campuses. Indotel's chairman Jose del Castillo Savinon revealed the plans during the presentation of 1,000 computers to the university with a view to improving access to ICT for students, teachers and administrative staff alike.
