Drei Austria offers hybrid 4G-DSL tariffs, introduces first 5G subscriptions

Hutchison Drei Austria said that it is starting to offer hybrid tariffs combining 4G and DSL, and is also introducing its first 5G subscriptions following trials among selected customers.

The hybrid 4G and DSL tariffs start with a 40 Mbps service for EUR 12 monthly and 100 Mbps for EUR 22 per month. These tariffs include a bonus of EUR 14 for existing customers who have purchased two mobile phone contracts. The bonus is EUR 7 for customers with only one mobile contract.

The StartNet tariff at 10 Mbps is available to existing customers with two mobile phone contracts under the new scheme for free.

Turning to its first 5G subscriptions, it said existing customers are eligible for a 5G tariff with a download speed of up to 200 Mbps at a price of EUR 32 per month, while 5G at up to 500 Mbps for downloads costs EUR 85 monthly. The company currently supplies 5G to part of Vienna, Linz, Graz, Worgl and Portschach.
