Drenthe province offers EUR 2 mln loan to de Wolden fibre project

The government of the Dutch province of Drenthe has agreed to provide a loan of EUR 2 million to the Glasvezel De Wolden project, started by residents to bring fibre broadband to the town of De Wolden. The money is needed to extend fast broadband to around 1,030 addresses, mainly in outlying areas, new-build homes and business parks.
