Drillisch announced that it will convene an annual general meeting on 12 January 2018 in Frankfurt to hold special elections for its supervisory board following the departures of Marc Brucherseifer and Horst Lennertz effective 31 December 2017. United Internet, a 25 percent shareholder in the company, and the supervisory board have said they recommend Vlasios Choulidis, a member of Drillisch’s executive board throughout its acquisition of 1&1 Telecommunication SE, for the post. Choulidis will step down at the end of the year from his current position and has announced his candidacy for the supervisory board.
