DT expands smart home platform to Norway, Slovakia

Monday 20 February 2017 | 16:05 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom announced the expansion of its smart-home platform to two new countries: Slovakia and Norway. Known as Qivicon in its own market, the white-label smart home offering is available in Slovakia by DT's local subsidiary Slovak Telekom since earlier this month and will launch in Norway with Nettalliansen, a group of regional utility companies. Nettalliansen is a group of 47 businesses offering broadband, energy and energy grid services. They will use the platform to offer assisted living services for seniors and professional health services under the brand name Hitch.
