Dtac, AIS qualified for 1800 MHz auction in Thailand

Dtac TriNet, a subsidiary of Thai operator Total Access Communication, has submitted to the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) an application to participate in the auction of 1800 MHz spectrum license. AIS subsidiary Advanced Wireless Network (AWN) also applied to participate in the auction. The regulator NBTC has announced that Dtac TriNet and AWN are qualified as bidders to participate in the auction of 1800 MHz spectrum, which will be held on 19 August.
