DTAC's profit falls 6% in Q4

Thai mobile services provider DTAC saw its profit slip 6.3 percent to THB 10.6 billion in the fourth quarter due to forex losses and a one-time provision from the settlement of the DPC case and write-down of unused deferred tax assets. Revenues, however, went up 5.7 percent year-on-year to THB 94.6 billion and EBITDA went up 12 percent to THB 30 billion. Capex for 2013 was THB 14.4 billion, in line with guidance, mainly to expand coverage and capacity of the 3G 2.1GHz network. This year, DTAC expects total revenues to grow 3 to 5 percent on VAS and data growth, and EBITDA margin is forecast
