Dutch authorities start joint investigation into recent 112 outage

The Dutch Justice and Safety Inspectorate, the Healthcare and Youth Inspectorate and spectrum regulator Agentschap Telecom will jointly investigate what happened with the 112 emergency number during the recent national outage on the KPN network. The disruption, for both fixed and mobile voice services, did not just affect KPN customers but people nationwide as it halted access to emergency number 112, managed on the KPN network.
