Dutch banks launch pilot of iDIN system with tax service

The Dutch payments association, Betaalvereniging Nederland has launched a pilot of the new iDIN service, allowing consumers to use their online banking ID to log in at other services. The service will initially work with the Dutch tax service's online system. Customers from ING and Rabobank will start the trial, and customers from ABN Amro, SNS and Triodos banks can access the service from April.
