Dutch consumer group threatens to sue privacy watchdog over Google inaction

The Dutch consumers union (Consumentenbond) said it plans to take court action against the data protection regulator AP, after the AP allegedly failed to act on a complaint against Google submitted by the union in 2018. The union made a similar threat a year ago, and the AP said the case was being handled by the EU regulator responsible for Google oversight, Ireland's Data Protection Commission.
