Dutch data centres call for excess heat to be considered renewable energy

The Dutch data centre has called for excess heat from their sites to be considered renewable energy, so it can be us re-used for other services. The Dutch Data Center Association said this could provide a big boost to the energy transition. The proposal was discussed at the Datacenter Restwarmte & Innovatie conference, at the Sustainability Day in Amsterdam.
