Dutch data protection authority asks for fresh investigation into Microsoft privacy practices

Microsoft has improved privacy for Windows users, according to a recent follow-up of the investigation by the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) in 2017. During this follow-up, the AP discovered new ways data is getting processed, ways that could be unlawful. It has therefore asked the Irish privacy regulator to start a new investigation into the privacy of Windows users.
