Dutch data protection regulator calls for more funding to implement GDPR

The Dutch Data Proctection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgevens - AP) has welcomed the parliament's approval of legislation implementing the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. However, the regulator said its budget is still insufficient to meet the tasks added by the legislation.
