Dutch data use to jump by factor of 7 by 2022 - NLkabel

Internet use for private internet connections is expected to rise by an average of 40.5 percent for downloads from 2016 to 2017, with upload volume lifting 44.1 percent, according to a NLkabel report performed by Dialogic and TU (Technical University) Eindhoven. The use of existing services accounts for an annual growth of 36.6 percent up and 31.6 percent up. The use of data by an average Dutch person is expected to increase by a factor of 7 over the coming six years, with the jump coming mainly from a more intensive use of current internet applications such as streaming video and music
