Dutch develop code of conduct on smartphone use while cycling

Dutch auto club ANWB, and the cyclist groups Fietsersbond and NTFU are working on a new code of conduct for use of bike paths in the Netherlands, including appropriate use of smartphones while cycling. The code is expected to roll out next year and aims to combat problems such as some cyclists going too fast in the bike lanes and young people using their phones while cycling.
